A Call for Responsible Owner Participation
Dear Owners,
- We had, in our ‘Achievable Promises’ stated that we would “Review SOP on tenant management” in conjunction with both Resident Owners (ROs) and Non-Resident Owners (NROs) in Harbhajan Vihar (HV). The aim, inter alia, is:-
- To find common ground between requirements of Resident Owners (Ros) and Non-Resident Owners (NROs).
- Find means of bringing in better-quality-better-paying tenants by advertising on various sites. Please note that we are already working on this issue, which includes distressing flat rentals more widely.
- Tenant Brokers: usher in greater accountability.
- How to improve tenant satisfaction. Obtain feedback from tenants to address genuine grievances, albeit routed thru’ the owner(s).
- Towards this end, we would request you to forward you learned views on this issue by us by email (hvrwa114@gmail.com) (please do not spam this group with responses) so that we can address this issue.
- However, before responding, I would humbly request the NROs to kindly recognize that the overall objective of the Harbhajan Vihar’s Tenant Management Committee is solely to ensure that NROs get good tenants and who do not end-up creating problems for the NROs – as also that the safety & well-being of HV / its residents will be to the overall benefit to everyone, and that a deterioration in safety will only bring down HV’s reputation and rentals.
